Huawei beat Samsung to the top smartphone firm seller in the world not too long ago and Apple staying in third for a long time. It’s now Xiaomi’s turn in third with a year over year (YoY) growth thanks to their partnership with Samsung and the dilemma of Huawei due to their fights with the US government and multiple sanctions they’ve been receiving.
The new chart we have is ranking Samsung at first and Apple coming at third. Samsung got a 2% increase compared to last year and Apple went down by -7%.
TECNO is also on the list which is interesting and means they still have a strong hold in Africa and LG is struggling to stay on the chart with a -11% over last year and we know the LG Wing is going to perform like their normal phone this year till next year.
