Liverpool finally scooped Tottenham to seal their top spot with a late Firminho header to secure a 2-1 lead for the host after strikes from Mo Salah and Son equalizing in the first half. Liverpool now sits atop the table with 3points ahead with Tottenham condemned to second on the log.

Chelsea lost on the road again. Wolverhampton Wanderers came from behind to condemn Chelsea to another loss after Neto’s last gasp winner. Frank Lampard’s men went into the match with the possibility of going top temporarily, but Wolves showed admirable character to come from behind to secure a fine victory against the odds.

Manchester United won on the road after a superb second-half performance from the reds with Marcus Rashford brace and Martial scoring in between to secure a 3-2 win against Sheffield United who never gave up till the last whistle. Dean Henderson error led to the Blades first goal to give them the lead, but Marcus Rashford brilliant equaliser kept them steady before Anthony Martial early second-half goal to put them ahead. With Rashford sealing the victory with his second on the night.
